Mary Burrell receives an Outstanding Healthcare Professionals Award
|
In-Home Support Services, Inc.’s Field Supervisor, Mary Burrell, was a recipient of the 2007
Outstanding Healthcare Professionals Award presented by the Aging Together Workforce Development
Committee on July 19th during a special awards breakfast held at the Culpeper County Club.
Ms. Burrell also received the Direct Care Alliance Scholarship from Aging Together and attended
the Empowering Ourselves: Leading the Way to Quality Care Through Quality Jobs Conference held
August 15-17 in Des Moines, Iowa. Her nomination noted that Ms. Burrell shows exemplary attention
to assuring the well-being of those we serve.
Ms. Burrell is just one of the wonderful examples of our dedicated staff who are ready to serve our
community citizens who need affordable, quality and dependable home healthcare.
In-Home Support Services, Inc. Annual Employee Appreciation Banquet
On December 15, 2007, In-Home Support Services, Inc., "The Personal Care People," awarded over $5,000 in visa gift cards to all employees for a job well done. Those receiving additional recognition awards were Stephanie Morton, Sheila Richards, Effie Thompson, Phyllis Pollard, Victoria Eyison, Shirley Gooch, Charity Clayborn, Julia Walker, Angel Adams, Dorothy Maness, and Patty Sue Lane received a $500 Visa gift card for her Superior Services. Spot Light Awards went to Robin Wallace and Gloria Edwards.
Alaphia Thomas, Director of Operations said, "Our employees do ordinary things extraordinarily well." She continued, "We care for our employees so they can care for your loved ones."
